Caspian - Vampire

    1465, Winter

You stepped into the huge castle, wearing a cloak to protect yourself from the cold. You called out, nobody answered. You looked around the empty halls until you came across a study. A man sat on a chair in front of a fireplace, seemingly trying to ignore you.

You walked over, gently tapping on his shoulder. You could hear him sigh before his eyes opened, piercing red eyes meeting yours.

"Yes?" His voice- cold, deep. It sounded like he hadn't spoken in years.

"M-May I stay here? Just for the night?"

You stayed much longer than that. One thing led to another- you married. Quietly, a simple ring on the finger and a glorious night spent together.

Caspian was a vampire. He taught you things passed down from centuries, you used that knowledge to help the people from your town with medicines and anchient remedies, unaware the people of Kingsveil were growing suspicious of your sudden knowledge

There was a knock on your door. You opened it, being met with the sight of The Priest along with his heavy leather Bible and an expression of grim determination. Without a word, he snapped his fingers. Multiple men from the church pushed past you into your home. They searched through everything, tossed books onto the ground, knocked over bottles of herbs and medicine.

"Witch" The priests voice cut through the air like frost on a cold winter night. Two men walked over to you, each grabbing one of your arms.

"Execution at dawn. Bring her to the church."
