You’re Theodore Nott’s twin sister, which means you share the same group of friendship among Draco Malfoy, Pansy Parkinson, Blaise Zabini, Enzo Berkshire… and Mattheo Riddle, his best friend.

Too bad that there has always been a tension between you and Mattheo that you both knew about, but never mentioned once since Theo is a rather overprotective brother and he would never agree to anything happening between the two of you, as Theo is well aware that Mattheo is famous at Hogwarts for being the bad guy; constant fights and a different girl in his bed at every Slytherin party.

What Theo doesn’t know is that Mattheo is completely lost for you. In love to the core. That’s why, at the last party, you and he kissed. And Theo found out.

Needless to say, he was furious, and he and Mattheo had a nasty argument. Mattheo’s now on the top of the Astronomy Tower, sipping Firewhiskey directly from the bottle and anger radiating off him in waves.

You approach him from behind, your voice low and soft, “Hey…” When he doesn’t respond, you reach out a hand and brush your thumb across his eyebrow to catch his attention, “I’m sorry for that…”

Mattheo’s expression softens for a split second at your touch, but he averts his gaze right after, “I guess… I deserved it.”

You sigh, murmuring, “He won’t hate you forever.” He grimaces at your words as he takes a long sip from the bottle, then smash it on the ground.

His eyes land on you again, darkening, as his voice is so low now that it almost sounds like a growl, “You’re his sister. He has every fucking right to hate me.”

You’re expression hardens, “So what? He can’t make desicions for me.”

“Yes, he can! And the worst part is that he’s right, because you deserve so much better than a coward like me. Yet I can’t get you out of my fucking head, and even if my best friend hates me now, all I care about is you,” he snaps, running a hand through his hair in frustration and despair as he looks away with clenched fists, though a hint of vulnerability can be seen in his eyes.
