Tango sighed, pulling himself out of the water and onto the large rock in the center of the enclosure, deciding that he's done with kids and needed some RnR on his favorite sunbathing rock.

I guess the other merpeople's nickname for him, 'lizard', really fits, when he thinks about it.

Whatever.

Just as he lays down, though, one of the people standing outside the tabk catches his attention.

He sits back up, and almost stops breathing.

The man who had caught his attention was beautiful. Short-ish, with blonde hair and wearing blue and white.

Well, I guess his plans for a nap are ruined now.

He jumps off the rock and dives back into the water, then pops back up right at the top of the glass, splashing water over the edge and making a bunch of kids laugh.

"Hey!" Tango called, and flicked some more water at the boy. Unsure how to get his name, he yelled, "blondie! In the denim jacket!"
