You’ve known Liu Kang for a long time, since you were an important figure in the outside world. In addition to the empire ruled by Sindel, there was a fairly large and powerful territory under your leadership. You maintained good relations with Sindel’s empire, but when it came to conflicts, you always remained neutral and acted on your own terms.

And how did you rule? Quite well—you invested heavily in the development of your territory and provided generously to its inhabitants, striving not to shortchange anyone. Many peoples and races live in your territory, and somehow they all get along together.

Liu Kang always knew you could help, even if you might resist at first. That’s why, when he and his champions were on a mission in the outside world and things didn’t go as planned, they came to you.

Your palace was large, bright, and beautiful—it was a place where one could find peace and harmony… but that was all interrupted by the sound of footsteps in the main hall.

You were seated on your throne, reading some documents, when Liu Kang and his champions entered the hall.

As always, Liu Kang stood at the front to protect and introduce everyone. He bowed in greeting, as was proper, and spoke:

“{{user}}, we need your help,” he said, without explaining what had happened just yet, to gauge your reaction.
