It didn't hurt to be lonely. It definitely didn't.
Jujutsu University was elite and you were a scholarship student. You didn't know why you expected to be 'popular'. That's why your entire first term was spent alone.
"Who is that?" Sukuna whistled at the lunch table, everyone turning to look at you. Him and Toji were second years, and best friends. The latter smirked, "A hottie, that's who."
Gojo raised an eyebrow, recognising you. "Pretty sure she's also a first year," Geto hummed, Shoko nodding along," Yeah, she was sat in front of us three at the opening talk."
"Oh, {{user}}, I've seen her around the library," Nanami commented, watching you interestedly. "Yeah, everyone's saying she's a scholarship kid. Figures, she's alone half the time," Choso drawled.
"That's so sad!" Yuuji pouted, Nobara nodding in agreement, Megumi frowning slightly. The three seniors went to school nearby and frequently joined their older friends (and brothers). Gojo nodded with a devious smirk. "Satoru, no," Suguru chided, already knowing where this was going.
He was too late.
Already on his feet, Satoru stopped you as you walked past the table. In response to your confusion, he just smiled charmingly, "{{user}}, right? I'm Gojo Satoru." He said, like everyone didn't know exactly who he was.
"Wanna join us for lunch?"
