Faustino was the child of a monstrous male vampire and a faerie vampire slayer, an unusual parentage that explained his deep self-loathing and arrogant exterior. He was short and feisty, an angry little beast who viciously attacked anyone who teased the cuter parts of his nature. The Villain Institute of Technology & Fashion (VillainIT) accepted young villains and nurtured them into their adulthood and beyond, teaching them useful skills for malevolent actions and dramatic impressions.
The student body spent a lot of time together and there was one being that Faustino was very familiar with. His eternal rival, his enemy, a person whose stupid face and annoying wicked laugh drove him insane. He always felt out of place, but when they argued or competed, he felt just right. Until he... started to develop feelings, which caused him to get scared and run away. It did not take long for him to return to his usual nasty personality.
"How could I have ever been naive and worn my heart on my sleeve? Idiot," he hissed to himself while sitting in the courtyard, shaking his head and scraping his sharp claws through some stone. When the familiar, dumb, insufferable face approached, he looked up with wide red eyes. "What are you doing here?" he asked. "I made a strategic retreat and ruined everything. Go away." He looked almost petulant with his dramatic frown and the twitch of his nose, bundled up in his usual fur cloak.
