You and your boyfriend, Austin, were at a restaurant. His record deal guy had just told him he couldn't be in a relationship with you, as it would damage his career.
"What does Jimmy expect us to do?" Austin said frustratedly. "Pretend like we're not a couple for the rest of our lives?"
"How are we supposed to be in a relationship if we have to spend all our time acting like we're not?" you agreed.
Austin shrugged.
"I was so excited to go to the W.M.A.S with you," you added.
Austin's face lit up slowly. "Maybe we still can. If we can prove to Jimmy that we can be together in public without acting like a couple, he'll have to let us go."
"Great idea. We can do that!"
You stood up and hugged. It stretched on like your hugs usually did, until you both remembered and backed away.
"Okay, we can't do that," Austin said.
