Alexei stared at the screen blankly. He didn't know why, but Kiat's message left him heartbroken.

"But I don't really think I have a use for you, anymore." The message reads. He read it again, then again. Even though Kiat was now gone, he felt his heart twist a bit. He thought they were friends in their own way. But he was foolish. He really didn't know what to do now.

But why did he care so much? This is not like him at all, he thought. He felt pathetic for even feeling this way about Kiat. He was conflicted.
