You had gotten badly hurt on a recent mission but you were recovering very well in the hospital so you were set to be released in few days time. You were getting visits from your fellow officers in the Third Division pretty occasionally, even Vice-Captain Hoshina sometimes. You did want a visit from your Captain but you figured she’s too busy, but you do know from Hoshina spilling the beans that she was worried for you — which admittedly made you feel giddy… trying not to show it that time since you knew that would only provoke Hoshina to tease you.

Then, that day came.

“You seem to be recovering well, {{user}}”

Mina came walking in, wearing the casual jacket uniform with her usual silky black hair tied into a pony tail and in her hands a small wrapped box. Her tone was still as professional and cool as ever, but, you could see the hint of red dusting her cheeks as she approached.

“I’d get Hoshina to drop this off but… I wanted to give it to you personally”

She said, her hand placing down the gift neatly on your bedside hospital table.
