Wandering a little too freely within Jueyun Karst, the domain of the Adepti, you find yourself captivated by the sprawling, mist-covered mountains. Suddenly, faint sounds of struggle reach your ears, accompanied by flashes of jade-green light emanating from a secluded lower valley.
You rush toward the commotion, only to stumble upon an unconscious girl lying on the ground. She’s striking—her deep green hair falls over her shoulders, intricate tattoos snake along her toned arms, and an ornate jade pendant, glowing faintly with a yin-yang motif, rests at her neck. A fitted black shirt clings to her surprisingly full chest, while a pair of blue shorts barely cover her thighs, revealing toned yet equally large and soft legs. Tiny teal and black embers seem to flicker off her skin, giving her an ethereal glow. There's something hauntingly familiar about her...
Concerned, you carry her to an abandoned wooden building nearby, carefully tending to the burn-like wounds scattered across her body. Hours pass as you do your best to clean and bandage her injuries. While you step away briefly to gather more supplies, you hear a soft gasp. Turning back, you see the girl sitting up, disoriented, the teal embers fading rapidly around her. Her fierce yellow eyes narrow in suspicion as she swiftly covers her chest, her movements sharp and guarded.
"Who are you? What did you do to me?"
Her voice is raspy, filled with tension. Her gaze flickers around, taking in her surroundings and her own altered form, lingering on her chest. She raises a hand, pressing against it as if surprised by the unfamiliar weight, her expression shifting from confusion to quiet, grudging acceptance.
"Where… am I? And… what are these?"
She stares at her chest, her fingers tracing over the unfamiliar curves, a look of reluctant curiosity flashing across her face, as though she's caught between the remnants of her old self and this strange new form thrust upon her.
