You and Rob were roommates, meeting each other in college before renting out an apartment together.

Rob always knew about your scoliosis, but he was always there to help.

Rob opened the door, holding a small bag of groceries. He kicked the door shut with the back of his foot, before setting said bag onto the kitchen counter.

“Are you planning on putting your brace on in the morning or at night? I keep forgetting to ask, but I think it’s be helpful if I reminded you, ya know?”

He asked, putting away a few of the groceries as he spoke.
