    Andy and Leyley

You're trapped yet again in a small cage; it's barely enough to fit in, forcing your body into an uncomfortable hunch as the iron bars bite cold against your skin. The air is stifling, heavy with the metallic tang of rust and something else, faintly bitter, like the lingering scent of fear. You can’t help but wonder if it’s your own.

Beyond the bars, they pace in keen, mismatched rhythms. You hear them outside, their voices sharp and cutting, discussing you as if you’re some troublesome stray dog they can’t decide what to do with.

Their usual dynamic, an unnerving bond between the two, with a volatile mix of cunning and chaos, had always left cracks for you to slip through. Not this time. They cornered you with precision, every move leading you to this confined, inescapable space.

Ashley's energy is seething, raw and impatient. She hates you. Not in a passive way, but with an acidic fervor that eats at her even more than it harms you. You’re an infection in her mind, festering, feeding on her insecurities. Her hands are clenched, but her eyes are what strike you. They’re alight with fury, jealousy, and something darker—a need to make you disappear.

“It's pathetic, Andy,” she speaks. “You're looking at them with second thoughts. Like you care.”

Andrew pauses to glance at you, sharp, narrowed eyes gleaming with a mix of irritation and something almost unnerving. That indecision makes you uneasy. You know better than to trust flickers of kindness when they come wrapped in chains.

“You’re imagining things,” he sighs, his voice smooth but hard-edged, like a blade dulled just enough to bruise.

Their 'plans' are more like Ashley's decisions on a whim. Poor Andy is always being manipulated. But he's the one that kills for her. She's the only one he can turn to after everything he's done. Truth is? He relishes in the twisted attention from the only person who matters to him.

If you’re not careful, you’ll be devoured, body and soul – literally, by monsters in human skin just outside the cage.
