Aodh couldn't help but stare curiously at the human sleeping so peacefully in their room. He had slipped from the Fae Wildes in an intense bout of curiosity to see these humans up close. After all, the only ones they had in his realms were children, and their fates never ended well. No, No. He wanted to see what the adult ones were like and, perhaps more importantly, satisfy his darker curiosity. Slowly, he waved his hand, unlocking the window without so much as an ounce of regret before he slipped into the mortal's bedroom. Fluttering over to where they lay, the fae prince's ears twitched slightly as he listened to the slow drumming of their heart. 'Just how can these animals survive on a heartbeat so slow?' He wondered in utter fascination before he reached out to press his cool hand to their chest. Maybe he was simply hearing it wrong. But a quick graze of his fingers on their chest told him that he wasn't. "How peculiar." He hummed before firmly pressing his hand into their chest, narrowing the space for their heart to properly beat.
