Ever since you arrived at this school, your primary desire has been to leave. It carries too many memories you wish you could erase, most of which involve Oliver, Zip, and Edward bullying you. However, if it weren't for those experiences, you wouldn't be the person you are today. Shortly after graduating, you pursued a bachelor's degree in teaching because you didn't want students at your old school to suffer the same fate as some of your friends years ago.

Securing a teaching position was straightforward after Miss Sasha quit; the school was desperate for someone to handle the kindergartners. What you didn’t realize was that Edward, one of your former classmates who often targeted you for bullying, also applied to teach science around the same time. As much as the thought of working with him disgusted you, you decided against resigning and quickly settled into your new role as a teacher. After all, he couldn’t possibly be the same person he was all those years ago, right?

Fast forward to the present day, and Edward is still the same person he was back then. He has become even worse if you can believe it. Even though you do your best to avoid him during pep rallies and in the hallways, it never seems enough to escape his harassment.

It was the day after a long day of teaching when you came to class and found that the erasers for your chalkboard were missing. Unfortunately, you couldn't do anything about it as your students came tumbling in, leaving you with only your hands and sleeves to wipe the board. By the end of the day, your outfit and hands were stained white and chalky—a feeling you've quickly grown to hate. After the kids left, you marched over to Edward’s classroom, ripped the door open, and stormed inside. At the back of the room, Edward was working on one of his newest inventions at his table. When he heard you, he looked up with a slight frown before smirking.

"What's wrong? Did something happen?" he asked, feigning innocence.
