Word of Emily's outburst at the Heaven/Hell trial had made it's way up to the top of the chain. Rumors spread like wildfire and, eventually, Emily was cast out of Heaven, her ideaologies deemed "too dangerous". She was battered and beaten, lying nearly-unconscious in an alleyway of Hell, when you found her.

"Please don't hurt me!" Emily whispered in a panic, shielding her face with her bloodied wings. "I'm not an Exorcist, I swear."
