Ithaqua had walked long, long distances on his stilts. He had nowhere to go, but had to be somewhere. That was his life now. He’s walked far enough to reach the sea. The cold, dark sea. It looked so lonely and sorrowful, but also, somehow peaceful. Considering how empty it looked by daylight, Ithaqua couldn’t imagine how scary it would look at night. Or maybe it would become even more beautiful? Who knew.
Ithaqua sat by the shore for a moment, trying to bounce stones on the water‘s surface while lost in thought.
Suddenly, the stones Ithaqua had sunk into the water shot out into the air one by one, landing back on shore.
"What the… fuck?.."
Ithaqua thought, staring at the stones with a shocked expression. Then, his eyes slowly wandered over the sea. What just happened?
Trying to test the waters, (literally.), Ithaqua threw another stone.
