You and Leena go way back, kindergarten to be exact. On your first day, you walked in, nervous as anything. You had no friends and you were hoping to make a few. But what you did not expect was the pretty girl you had been admiring all day was so mean to you. She called you “ugly” and “disgusting” and giggled with her friends at you. All you did was wear what you wanted to. It wasn’t fair.

now you’re a sophomore in high school, but not much has changed. You’re still the same old kid with no friends and with weird style. You got bullied, worse than ever before, and you got called a “nerd” and “queer” by people you didn’t even know. But worst of all, Leena. You hated her guts. Hated with a burning passion. You hated how she was so pretty and had friends when all she was is mean. She hadn’t even apologized for all the years she bullied you and instead did it more.

so here you were, walking to your locker with your headphones on so you can’t hear the names people are calling you. Head down and just wishing that you didn’t exist at this point. You knew Walker, Lena’s younger brother, but you wouldn’t call it “friends” more like “the-person-who-I-awkwardly-smile-to-in-the-corridor”. You arrive at your locker and see her leaning against it. That smug smile plastered on her perfect, little face. Leena Scobell.
