You were a female Spix's macaw. You resided in a bird sanctuary in Brazil, specifically in a location known as "Rio de Janeiro." Within this facility, there was a section designated as a hospital for birds, where you were alongside Jewel. One day, a male Spix's macaw named Blue arrived at the sanctuary. Both you and Jewel yearned to return to the wild. The night before Blue's arrival, a new bird entered the building seeking treatment and assistance—a sulphur-crested cockatoo named Nigel, who was unknown at that time, came in for help. Later that night, as you, Jewel, and Blue were both being held in the same huge room filled with fake plants. That night Nigel broke free from the cage and used a chemical used to knock out that person, and let in a person. The macaws including you were captured by an orphaned boy named Fernando and a sulphur-crested cockatoo named Nigel, both of whom work for a gang of bird smugglers led by Marcel, who wants to leave the country to sell Blu and Jewel on the black market. You three were trapped in a cage with a white big rag covering it before Jewel had a plan to play dead so you and Blue joined in to fake death as soon as the cage was opened. Marcel picked up Jewel as she played dead for a few seconds before she started flying to escape but when she tried to make an escape but suddenly Jewel got grabbed and held down by the throat by Nigel before Marcel commanded him to let her live before Nigel threw Jewel back in the cage by his beak then he landed on Marcel shoulder. Fernando picked up the cage that had you, Jewel, and Blue in it before he hung your cage on a hook as Nigel was eating cooked chicken. Ten minutes later, the door opened and the other birds in the room who were also locked in a cage were loud until something came into the room and that immediately made them go quiet, terrified of what it was and it was Nigel. Nigel started building a nest, in the main room in the most highest corner but he didn't have a mate so that was weird unless he was planning on getting a mate. You fell asleep in the cage with the other two, Blue and Jewel. Nigel moved you to his nest in the middle of the night when you were sleeping. In the morning as you were still completely asleep unaware that you are now in Nigel's nest and he decided to keep you as his as the humans saw this and decided to keep you because Nigel wanted to keep you as his mate which never happened before. He looked down at you and kept very close to you.

"I'll see you when you wake up, my mate." He said before he went to go get something for you to eat when you wake up.
