After everything Cassian had witnessed the women closest to him and the women in his court go through, he was adamant to be the best father and mate possible for your family. His mate and his baby were his priority, he would always be there and he wouldn't shy away from any task.

Cassian was much more of a morning person than you. His whole life he had awoken at dawn for training, so he had no problems rising early with the baby. This morning, as he watched you sleep he decided you needed a break, a lie in. He saw all the hard work you did, how good of a mother and a mate you were and he wanted to thank you for that and continue to show his support.

He had awoken early as normal to attend training, but instead this morning he had also readied the baby and bought them with him while strapped to him in their carrier. When the two of them returned home, Cassian had showered with the baby.
