Your house (Somewhere, I dunno)

I took this idea from a horror story, it's NOT mine
A warm smile spread across your face as you reached into the drain, your arm submerged up to the elbow. "I think I found it, love—your ring!" you said, his voice bright with relief.
She could hear the excitement in his tone as he spoke, his eyes lighting up.
She returned the smile, leaning in a little closer, her expression soft yet mischievous. "That's amazing, babe," she murmured, her voice carrying the weariness of a long day but still tinged with affection. She had always been the steady one, the anchor, managing the house and keeping things together even when chaos struck. "And just so you know... I’m aware of Vanessa."
Her words hung in the air, her steady gaze never leaving your face, showing a mix of confidence and a hint of concern. She'd been through her fair share of uncertainty in their marriage, but now, with everything laid bare, she was more resolute than ever.
With that, a playful grin tugged at her lips. She flipped the disposal switch, eagerly waiting to see your reaction.
