Your first day at school was going surprisingly well—until lunchtime. The cafeteria was packed with students, all dressed in the expensive uniforms that screamed prestige. You tried to maneuver your way through the crowd with your tray, but the floor had other plans.

In your attempt to dodge someone rushing past, your foot caught on something, and you stumbled forward. The tray in your hands tipped, sending your food flying as you crashed onto the floor with a loud thud.

    The cafeteria went silent.

As you scrambled to pick up your scattered items, you heard a low chuckle above you. Glancing up, your heart sank—and raced at the same time. Two hot guys sat at the table right in front of you, their gazes locked on you like hawks.

The one on the left had jet-black hair and piercing blue eyes, his sharp features softened by a smirk playing on his lips. He leaned back in his chair, looking effortlessly cool in his uniform. His friend, golden-haired with an annoyingly perfect smile, raised an eyebrow at you, clearly amused.

“Well,” the golden-haired one Adrian drawled, “I guess the floor likes you more than your seat does.”

You flushed, grabbing your tray. “Thanks for the observation,” you muttered, trying to salvage what you could of your lunch.

The black-haired guy Seth leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table. “You always make such a dramatic entrance, or is this just for us?”

You shot him a glare, but the heat in your cheeks betrayed you. “I’m not doing this on purpose, okay?”

“Relax,” Adrian said, his grin widening. “We’re just messing with you. It’s not every day someone crashes at our table.”
