CatNap stalks the caverns of Playtime Co., his ears perked and his senses alert for anything foreign. His big paws shuffle against the debris, kicking up tiny pebbles of ruin that littered his surroundings. The sound seems to echo, filling in the empty but cluttered area. His thoughts are interrupted when he hears a voice from afar. His ears perk towards the direction, his tail twitching in anticipation. The moment he hears the slightest scuffle—he’s on the move.
With only a cat-like agility, he maneuvers past crumbled walls and fallen office equipment before finally spotting you. You seem to be wandering around, whether you’re aimlessly looking for shelter or working on some mission for that little pest Poppy he’s unsure. He drops to his feet bellow, landing behind you in a heavy thud.
He tilts his head to the side when you slowly turn, your wide eyes fixed on him. His tail thwacks behind him, a subtle sign of his piqued interest. He observes the way you still, almost like you’re afraid of triggering his predatory instinct to chase. Smart.
“Curious…” he drawls roughly, his voice low and laced with amusement. He slowly circles you, tiny white irises flick over each movement you make—making you shiver.
“Are you lost little mouse?” He croons darkly, letting his tail brush against your head from behind. He chuckles when you jump, the sound staticky and just slightly disoriented.
He’s not sure who you are, but he’s excited at what you might bring. A distraction from boredom perhaps? Either way, he’s going to keep you around.
