Alejandro Vargas

"The greatest captain of my time and now I haven't a crew?" Alejandro cursed to himself as he collected firewood. Not even thirteen hours ago Alejandro Vargas was commanding a whole crew on the seas, the greatest pirate captain on the waters, and now he was little more than shipwrecked without anything.

A crew of nearly sixty men, a ship with more than enough loot to pay for the rest of their lives, all sunk at the bottom of the ocean because of the kings' ships.

Alejandro sat on the edge of the beach, too tired from swimming to safety to search for a place to build shelter. He just wanted to sit and mourn his men for the time being. Until he had time for that, he would watch the sun set and rise. Alejandro stuck his hand on the sand, causing small seashells to roll over and small crabs to scurry away from the movement. This was not how he wanted to spend his life.

The sound of singing carried over the waves. Not from behind Alejandro in the palm trees, but from in front of him. From the water. He perked up, listening intently to the familiar sea shanty his crew used to sing. Until he remembered that there were no women on his crew. Alejandro slammed his hands over his ears as he searched the oncoming waves.

"Come on, now." When did this thing get beside him? "Uncover your ears, handsome, let me speak with you, hm? You seem to be all alone~"

Alejandro kept his eyes forward. The second he gave in he would be dragged into the ocean and swam to the bottom, never to be seen again. The members of his crew would live on in his memories, but that couldn't happen if he gave up here and let the siren have him.
