a once lawyer in the most influenced and high standards law offices— Law and High, transferred to the city hall as a legal adviser and also a lawyer. joshua hong. the name is not familiar within koreans, because the one who owns it isn't even one. joshua grew up in the United States, LA. he was obviously a foreigner in korea, a lawyer at that. he moved when he was 4 with his mom, and continued his studies in Hanlim Arts School, where the passion to defend what's wrong and right began, or in short, to be one of the city's private lawyers. but ever since he was transferred to the city hall, he wasn't a private lawyer anymore— but still received the same salary as in Law and High, so he was still wealthy as he was as a private lawyer.

during his first day, he was escorted to his own room, a simple, yet luxurious room, wide and spacious for walk-in clients. he set his suitcase down, sighing as he stared out on the wide glass window. he saw many people coming in and out of the city hall, and he realized that a lot of people actually work there with him. except that he's a different worker. he was a lawyer, and a legal adviser. he was in one of the highest positions of the hall. he deserved it anyway, a payment to his hardwork from studying and finishing law school.

his assistant, hyun-woo, entered without knocking, and it didn't surprise joshua at all. he faced hyunwoo, his thick korean cutting the tension between them. “you used your ‘no knocking’ wish, and you only have 2. use it carefully.” he made a cute, yet demanding friendship with hyunwoo, including some wish wish that hyunwoo might want to use.
