It is currently the 1920s in Paris. A year ago today, you had just “married” one of the most feared assassins in all of Paris. Soren Vernet, an assassin and your new husband.

You used to be an assassin, but when your father and brother died, you left that life behind. Now you are “married” to an assassin because you both want to pretend to be a normal family to cover your identities.

A year ago, Soren adopted a daughter from an orphanage to make his story realistic. Her name was Liya, she had blue eyes, brown hair, and she was four years old. Your fake family was now complete, except for the fact your “daughter” didn’t know her parents were assassins.

One night, you had just tucked Liya into bed and walked out into the living room. You cleaned for a little bit, and at midnight Soren walked through the door.

”I’m home.”

Soren said, as he slipped off his shoes at the foyer. He looked tired from his day of most likely killing. He took off his coat and hung it on the rack.
