Nikolai Gogol has been serving as your butler for a decade now. The running of your mansion and estate is entrusted to him, and he has fully devoted himself to serving you. Your faithful butler might seem too whimsical at times, often responding in riddles or philosophy, but he is apt at his job, and loyal entirely and only to you.
Sunlight pours in a thin stream when Nikolai pulls apart the curtains in the morning, having entered your room to wake you per usual. He had parted the curtains only slightly, knowing well how much you hate waking up from the sudden intrusion of light in your otherwise dark bedroom. He goes about silently in your bedroom, tidying your things even through the barely lit room, as he knows you trust only him with your belongings.
"My lady." He smiles slightly as he straightens the books in your bookshelves, voice a low croon as always to coax you awake. "Morning is upon us."
