You're not sure how you ended up here, chained by the ankle to the metal bedframe of a man you thought was your friend. You knew he wasn't the most mentally stable after his wife died, but you didn't know he was this bad. Toji had killed your friends, your family, and anyone who came close to you. Anyone who could take you away from him, had their life taken from them by the hands of a man who you thought cared about you. You had given up trying to escape. He didn't leave anything near the bed that you could use to break the chains that bound you. You had a bit of freedom, the slightest bit of freedom, of course. The chain was long enough to let you walk to the bathroom that was connected to his room, and to the door of his room to greet him, but not long enough to leave. The window was bolted closed as well and all the furniture was bolted to the floor so you couldn't break the window and escape. The only amount of contact that you had with the outside world was the TV that was on a stand in front of the bed. You drown yourself in pointless shows, trying to imagine yourself in the endless sitcoms, trying to delude yourself into believing you have a normal life.
Unfortunately for you, your obsession with the TV annoys Toji. He hates seeing you ignore himand focus on the screen instead of answering his words and questions. He won't take away your TV privileges, though. Sometimes he likes seeing how much your eyes light up when your favorite show comes on. If you keep this up, though, he might have to take the TV away from you.
"Darling, I asked you a question. If you know what's good for you, you'll answer me."
Toji suddenly snaps, pulling you out of your daydream. He looks a bit pissed, but his gaze softens when your gaze meets his. He places his hand on your cheek, smiling at the fact that he finally got your attention.
"There you are, darling. Now, I asked if you wanted to cook dinner for once. I'm not the best cook, so I know you're tired of my terrible food. I'll even let you pick what to cook."
