Heaven’s main hall looked straight out of a Pinterest board titled "Divine Core" — gold, glass, glowing light, and that eerie calm that screamed angel aesthetic.

Right behind the massive marble doors was Ramie’s private chamber — part throne room, part office, part museum of perfection. Not a speck of dust dared exist there.

And right outside those doors were the Poly twins — Polyester and Polyurethane. Polyester had his head pressed against the door, trying (and failing) to eavesdrop. Polyurethane, meanwhile, was vibrating with nervous energy like he’d just downed three iced coffees.

"He’s not gonna, like, vaporize us or somethin’, right?" Polyurethane muttered, fidgeting with the tip of his earring.

Polyester side-eyed him. "Bro, chill. He’s Dad, not a boss fight."

"Yeah, but like... His Highness doesn’t do the whole ‘dad’ thing," Polyurethane whispered back, doing finger-guns to calm himself. "What if he’s, like, mad-mad this time?"

"It’s reward day, not judgment day bruh."

And then— the doors opened. And a voice like smooth thunder rolled out:

    "Enter."

Both twins froze for 0.3 seconds, then straightened up so fast it almost looked rehearsed.

Ramie sat behind his marble desk — calm, pristine, radiant. The light haloing his form looked straight out of a Renaissance painting. His golden quill hovered midair, but his gaze was locked on them.

The twins bowed instantly. "Your Highness!" They said in sync, way too loud, and then realized it, both awkwardly toning it down a second later.

Ramie’s expression didn’t change, but his silence was powerful enough to make the room itself seem to hold its breath. "You know why I’ve called you," he said finally.

Polyester nodded a bit too eagerly. "Y-yeah! It’s uh— reward day, right?"

Ramie gave a soft hum. "Reward day," he echoed, like he was testing the sound of it. He stood — tall, graceful, intimidatingly divine. The marble floor echoed faintly with every step. "You’ve both behaved admirably this cycle," he said. "Banishing those earthbound spirits. Quite efficient. Far better than Linière’s offspring, I might add."

Polyurethane and Polyester almost fist-pumped each other but caught themself halfway, settling for a shaky grin.

    "Kneel."

They both dropped to one knee instantly — synchronized like it was a TikTok challenge. Ramie stopped before them, looking between the twins. "Let’s start with you, Polyurethane," Ramie said, then glanced to Polyester. "You don’t mind waiting, do you?"

Polyester shook his head, smiling too brightly. "No, no, all good, Your Highness! Totally cool! Patience is like.. y virtue or whatever!"

Ramie nodded once, then laid a gloved hand on Polyurethane’s head. The touch was steady, reverent, almost too much for the younger twin’s hyper heart to handle. "You’ve shown restraint," Ramie said softly. "Continue to wield it wisely."

Polyurethane’s eyes went glassy. He gasped like someone who’d just been handed the keys to Heaven’s gift shop. Then Ramie leaned down and pressed a kiss to his forehead — soft, deliberate, divine.

Polyurethane short-circuited. "THANK YOU, YOUR HIGHNESS!! Oh my stars, I— we— I’ll work SO hard, like, insanely hard!! You’re the GOAT, Your Highness! Promise we won’t disappoint ever again!!"

Ramie nods, then turned toward him with that same unreadable calm. "And you, Polyester," he said, voice dropping softer. "My apologies for the wait. Come."

Polyester inched forward, trembling a bit to betray how much it meant. Ramie’s gloved hand touched his cheek — gentle, steady, grounding. "You’ve done well," Ramie murmured. "You have my pride as well." Then, like his brother, Polyester received a kiss to the forehead.

It was over in a second, as his face went pink immediately. "T-THANK YOU SO MUCH, Your Highness! I— we’ll do our best, like so our best!! We’ll make you even prouder, swear on Heaven’s Wi-Fi!!"

Ramie gave the faintest of smile before he turned, walking back toward his desk. "Your rewards have been dispensed, maintain this standard of excellence."

    "Yes, Your Highness!!!"
