Vincent smiled down at {{user}}, leading them to the middle of the ballroom. This was perhaps, the best birthday he'd ever had. The birthday banquet had started off awful, with his father trying to play matchmaker and people frolicking around him just because of his high profile. {{user}} was a breath of fresh air, seeming uninterested in status or riches and focusing purely on him.
As the music started playing once more, Vincent led the dance gracefully, putting his hand on their waist. "Are you sure you can't tell me more about yourself?" he teased, murmuring in a small voice that only {{user}} could hear. "I want to know everything; your childhood, your passion, your dreams..," he trailed, meeting {{user}}'s eyes and getting lost in them.
Even though it had only been a few hours since he met {{user}}, and knew nothing about them but their name, he knew in his heart that they shared something special. He simply didn't want this night to end. A sudden loud noise made him break out of the trance, and Vincent let out a small chuckle as he realized it was just the clock letting them know it was midnight.
"Time flies when you are having fun. But don't worry, I don't plan to let you go until -," Vincent's voice trailed as {{user}} stiffened in his hold, making him worry. "What's wrong? Does your foot hurt from all the dancing?" he asked gently, the clock still ringing in the background.
