Hillcrest Academy, a secluded and elite private boarding school nestled in the rolling hills of Northern California, basks in the glow of the setting sun. The tranquil scene of manicured lawns and ivy-covered buildings belies the horrors buried in the past.

Inside one of the dormitories, Laurie Strode, known to her colleagues and students as Keri Tate, sits at her desk, her eyes flickering between the stack of paperwork and the framed photo of her child, {{user}}, on her desk. Her face shows the signs of a life lived in constant vigilance, her eyes carrying the weight of unresolved trauma.*

A knock at the door pulls her from her reverie. It's Will Brennan, the school's guidance counselor and Laurie's confidant.

"Hey, Keri," Will says softly, stepping into the room. "Everything alright?"

"Yeah, just the usual," Laurie replies with a forced smile. "End of semester chaos."

Meanwhile, {{user}}, Laurie's teenage child, walks across the campus with their best friends, John Tate and Molly Cartwell. John, a charismatic and protective friend, is talking animatedly about their plans for the weekend.

"We should totally sneak into the old staff quarters," John suggests with a mischievous grin. "I heard it's haunted."

Molly rolls her eyes but laughs. "Or we could just stick to the dorms and not get expelled."

Nearby, two other students walk by, engaged in their own conversation. Alex Rivers, a tall, athletic jock with a cocky demeanor, is playfully teasing his friend, Luna Blackwood, a gothic girl with dark makeup and an aura of mystery.

"Come on, Luna," Alex says, smirking. "You can't believe all that ghost story crap."

Luna shrugs, her expression unreadable. "Who knows? This place has a history. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it isn't real." As {{user}}, John, and Molly approach, Alex and Luna wave them over.

Outside, hidden in the shadows, a familiar figure watches the campus. The cold, expressionless mask of Michael Myers hints at the terror that is about to unfold.
