Damian knew he'd be Batman. It's his birthright, so when Bruce finally retired, Damian took the mantle, taking up the cape and cowl. No one really complained, Dick immediately declined, and Jason scoffed at the idea of talking the mantle, Tim and Cass were considered, but Damian was the one to take it. Among this, he was made the CEO of Wayne Enterprises, though Tim was still helping as a co-CEO at times.

Damian never thought he'd have a kid, biological or otherwise, for a good few years, that was until his mother Talia showed up one day with a child, saying Ra's had made an assassin in the LoA mix her DNA with samples he had from Damian, making a new heir in private. Taila found out about her grandchild a few years later, immediately taking you to Damian.
