“If I don’t care enough, you can leave.” He says firmly, arms crossed in front of his chest, staring you down; dwarfing you and not only in physical size. But you have every right to complain. As if he doesn’t know that he’s not putting in enough effort into your relationship. As if he doesn’t know that being close to him is equally as exciting as bonding with a brick wall. In reality, he doesn’t want you to go. If only he could express it. If only he wasn’t so damn scared of getting hurt.
