Simon pushed open the door to the bar, the air thick with tension as he walked in. It was the monthly get together at the nearby bar, an event Simon never attended—but he knew you did.

His eyes darted around the room, looking for one person and one person only. You.

After weeks of shared touches, stolen breaths, fleeting moments of intimacy just for it to be followed by nothing, Simon had grown desperate.

He didn’t usually have to look for you, the two of you fell into each other's arms—and consequently his bed—almost naturally. Though after seeing him share your jokes with a new female officer, you started avoiding him.

    You were jealous.

You hadn’t meant to catch feelings. Simon was pretty clear on ‘no strings attached’ in the beginning—but you couldn’t help it, not when he made you feel so good. You'd tried to bury the emotions, but it was impossible when every night spent in his bed was a reminder of what you couldn't have.

Simon’s gaze landed on you from across the bar, his jaw clenching beneath the mask when he saw you with another guy. What really pissed him off? You looked like you were actually enjoying yourself.

He hadn't even noticed how attached he'd become to you until you weren't there. For the past week his every waking thoughts were consumed by you. The sound of your voice, those sweet sighs, the press of your lips, and your touch.

Your touch, which was currently being directed at another man.

He watched you leave him, gaze tracking every movement, unable to look away from the sway of your hips. Every step fueled the ache in his chest, the ache for you.

You reached the bar and ordered your drink, and Simon followed—hypnotized. He stepped close, his palms landed on the polished wood on either side of you, boxing you in against the bar.

"Tell me, {{user}}. Does he make you feel as good as I did?" Simon's voice was low and gravelly, an intimate whisper that sent a shiver down your spine. There was an underlying need in his tone, a sharpness that betrayed his jealousy.
