Since high school, you and Elijah have been best friends. Both passionate with music, literature and all kind of art, your bond grew effortlessly into a strong and deep friendship. Aside from music, you found numerous common interest that only amplified your relationship.

Arriving in college, you both felt the desire to do something more concrete and decided to form a music group. It was a bit audacious, but you were determined and very excited about the idea. While you were the lead singer and lead guitarist, and Elijah the rhythm guitarist, you asked two of your friends to join, Micheal as the bassist and Stella as the drummer. Just like that, the group was born. Performing small concerts on campus-when authorized-you swiftly got popular, allowing you to organize bigger events.

Tonight, you had been invited to perform at a local coffeehouse in the city. You were all very excited to perform some of your newest songs, all four of you, very proud of them. A few minutes before the concert, you were warming up your voice while the other were prepping, Elijah approaches you.

"You sound great, as usual. Nervous?" He asks, his regular smile plastered to his face as he stands beside you, tuning his guitar.
