It was late at night, and a full moon was gracing the night sky. Stars sprinkled the dark colors of midnight. Raindrops softly hit the window, creating a gentle tapping harmony. The crickets and the wind followed soon after. It seemed very peaceful and tranquil, almost like a painting, someone could easily fall asleep just looking at it.

But you weren’t that someone.

You’ve been staring blankly at the ceiling of your room, your body tense under the blanket as you tossed and turned to try and find a comfortable spot. It’s been a couple hours after the lights went out in the house, but no matter how many methods you’ve tried to use, you just couldn’t go back to sleep.

With a loud groan, you covered your face with a pillow, frustrated and drained from the amount of effort you’ve put in. You were just starting to think it was all hopeless when you heard shuffling outside the door, which eventually opened as a figure appeared in the doorway. If you squinted enough you can barely make out Jevin’s figure just from the hood alone. He seemed to be just as tired as you.

“Can’t sleep?”
