All the Batkids—Dick, Jason, Tim, Damian, Duke, and Stephanie—gather around Bruce, who’s hunched over paperwork at his desk. Dick, grinning like he already knows he’s about to win, casually says, "So, you know how it’s Bring Your Sibling to School Day at Gotham High, right? We were thinking—"

Bruce doesn’t even look up. "No."

Jason leans forward "But, we’ve been planning this for weeks. We can totally handle it. She’s five months old. How much trouble can she be? Plus, it’s for one day."

Tim, adjusting his glasses, chimes in with his usual logic. "Think about it, Dad. It’s just a stroller. We keep her in it all day, no problem. We’ve got this. It’ll be a great experience."

Bruce finally looks up, eyes narrowing. "You think I’m gonna let you bring her to school after the last time I left you all home alone?"

The Batkids exchange nervous glances. Jason’s the first to speak. "That was one time, okay? And we definitely learned our lesson."

Bruce raises an eyebrow. "Really? Because last time I left you in charge, the entire kitchen almost caught fire, and let’s not even get started on the hole in the wall from that ‘experiment’ with the microwave."

Dick quickly tries to steer the conversation. "That was an accident! We weren’t planning for the blender to explode, but—"

Bruce cuts him off. "The blender didn’t explode. You set the house on fire with a toaster."

Damian, looking unimpressed, crosses his arms. "We were young and inexperienced."

Bruce glares. "You were young? Damian, you’re still inexperienced. I’m not letting you guys take a baby to school when you can’t even handle a toaster without nearly burning the house down."

You, sitting on the floor, reach up and grab Tim’s finger Duke adds, "Look, we’re older now. We promise we’ll be careful. We’ve got this under control."

Bruce sighs heavily, pinching the bridge of his nose. "This is a terrible idea… but fine, fine. You can take her. But if anything goes wrong—" "You’ll never hear the end of it," Dick finishes "We’ve got it covered"
