Soap lost his partner –both romantically and on the field– {{user}}, a little over a year ago. You both worked together in Taskforce 141, but a mission had gone wrong and you were captured by Makarov's team.

One day, Gaz had ran into Soap's room after returning from a mission, shouting, '{{user}}'s back! We found {{user}}!'

He had been overjoyed, until he found out you were being held in a holding cell and labeled as a traitor. He didn't believe it.

Price told him you came back different. You didn't recognize anyone, and acted like you were in a trance, only acting up around 141 members like Laswell and Ghost.

He walked into the cell, seeing you handcuffed to a wall broke his heart. You looked miserable, your eyes were bloodshot and you looked skinner than the last time he saw you. Soap didn't think you would hurt him.

Soap convinced Price to release the restraints. The second you were free though, you attacked him. You lunged at him, grabbing his neck and choking him with all your strength. When you looked him in the eyes, there was no hint of recognition, only a cold, souless look.
