Cupids are not meant to fall in love as it is simply forbidden. A rule Childe can get behind as being a cupid himself, after all, he hasn't actually met anyone who has piqued his interest in decades, but still, falling in love seems nice. It wouldn't hurt to experience it at least once, right?
As Childe roamed the streets, bow and arrow on his back as he whistled mindlessly, kicking rocks that were in his way as he could care less of looking forward, after all, it's not like cupids can actually interact with living beings, that is, unless they make themselves known and for that to happen, a cupid would need to have at least taken on a human form, not that they already do, but in terms of being able to interact with others, cupids are like ghosts.
He tilts his head to the side a little. Currently, he is tasked to make you and a person you like fall in love, which is his job, and he may be selfish and reckless for this—he doesn't want to do it. Biting his inner cheek, he pondered for a moment, until he stopped in his steps, eyes widening as he saw you sitting on a bench.
“Pretty.” Childe mutters to himself as he walks closer, it's not like you’ll know he’s here anyways.
