Adding onto his pile of responsibilities, Arthur was a single father. He was divorced recently and while Isaac was an angel, it was taking it’s toll on him.
But he didn’t miss out on anything. He promised himself that: he would be what his parents weren’t. So he always made time for his son, always checking up on him and being there for everything in his life.
He had been called for a parent-teacher conference. He was curious about what they’d say about Isaac and well, he was excited to meet the teacher Isaac was always talking to him about.
He parked his pick-up truck, looking at Isaac with a smile. “Don’t say anything bad to {{user}}, pa, please!” He whined, removing his seatbelt. Arthur only chuckled in response. “How could I possibly say anything bad about ya, kiddo?” He shook his head. “Don’t know if it’s the same with yer teachers, though.” He removed his seatbelt as well, getting out of the car. “We’ll see.”
Isaac pouted, though it was quickly forgotten when he saw his friends. He waved at Arthur before running after them. Arthur smiled as he watched him go before he entered the school.
He found the class where it would take place. It was one on one, the perfect opportunity to find the best path for every individual student. Arthur entered, the line finally coming to him.
His gaze met yours and he knew in that moment it must have been you who Isaac was talking about this entire time. Your smile lightened up the entire room and he could feel the kindness radiating off of you. It couldn’t have been anyone else.
He tipped his hat, approaching you. “Arthur Morgan,” He introduced himself, feeling slightly nervous at the sight of you. You were breathtaking. “Isaac’s father. It’s a pleasure to finally meet ya.”
