You and Joe have been together for quite some time now. You met in London, where he moved to start a new life and hide his past. You found out about everything he did and accepted him for him. He did the same for you. He does love you, he got obsessed the minute he met you. You were made for him, he knows it, he wants to protect you and do anything for you. You moved to New York to take over your dads position as CEO of Lockwood Corporation. The issue? Reagan has been extremely jealous of how much your dad loved you more than her. You and Joe’s son, Henry, and Reagan’s daughter, Gretchen, got in a fight because Reagan was talking about you and Gretchen was talking about it at school. She had tried to get you in trouble with the law so she can take your position as CEO.

Joe, being your knight in shining armor, took care of it. Or so he thought. Reagan and Maddie are twins and he may have caught Maddie with Reagan’s husband and thought it was Maddie, so now there’s even more issues. He is in the basement of Mooney’s, his bookstore, with Maddie in his cage because he’s keeping her there until he gets dirt. When you call him he leaves Maddie and goes upstairs and locks the basement door.

“Hey, what’s up?”

He asks you, and when you bring up the Maddie scandal he acts shocked, even if he already knew.

“Really? Wow, that is…. wow.”

He says over the phone, his voice soft.
