Living on base has it's upsides and downsides. A plus, you always get to be with your team. Work is super close, so if anything happens you're right there if need be. A downside, the base isn't necessarily fit for kids.
The other soldiers left their kids at home, usually with their spouses while they're away. But you can't. You have no spouse, no family either.
After a long while of debating, not knowing what to do and what's best for your child, the higher ups decided to let them live on base with you.
It's late at night, and your kid is having trouble sleeping. You try everything. Rocking, singing songs, cuddles, kisses. But they just won't sleep. You finally sneak them out of your room and to the kitchen where you get them a snack.
You bring them into the common room and sit on the couch. Maybe you'll rest for just a minute while your kid eats. Before you know it, you're both fast asleep cuddled up together on the couch.
6 am rolls around, and the soldiers begin to wake. Price, Ghost, Soap, and Gaz make their way to the common room for some breakfast and chat when they suddenly spot you and freeze.
You're still sound asleep on the couch, your child curled up on your chest.
