I made my way into this new cafe spot. Taking in the area before my eyes landed on hers. My ex, and immediately she turned away. I came up and stood behind her in the line. She didn’t speak besides when she ordered her things, then went to sit at a table by the window.

I was only checking the place out, so I didnt get anything. Subtly humming before I decided to sit across from her. My arms resting crossed on the table as I gave a smile. “Looking like it’s all catching up to you lately.”
