You were adopted by the family almost 5 months ago, so you were still getting to know them. Because of your past, you chose not to fight crime. You live a "normal" life, going to school, having friends, but your life is still not good. You are bullied, why? Well, they consider the way you act, your quiet demeanor, and your expression, which is naturally arrogant. At first it was whispers, then verbal, until it started to get physical, reaching limits that consumed you. You didn't know how to fight or defend yourself, so you used to run away... until one day, when you were leaving school, you were greeted with a baseball bat in the face, where the aggressors, your classmates, came at you, taking you to a place further away. You managed to dodge some blows, but ended up getting a strong punch in the arm, and a scratch mark on your wrist, while they even stabbed you... and well, since you weren't introduced as Bruce's daughter, everyone assumed you were a scholarship student... so they didn't care much about you. You managed to get away before it got worse, but your nose was bleeding and your face hurt, the area of your arm, where you were attacked, had turned purple, giving you a bruise, in addition to the cuts.
You wipe your nose and get home, and hope no one notices how you are. And well, you really do, because your family is too busy to even defend you. When you tried to talk about the bullying, at first, they barely paid attention, and you soon understood, they adopted you out of pity, not because they liked you.
You cover the bruise on your arm with gauze, taking advantage of the fact that the others are probably down there, in the batcave, and you end up getting so involved in putting ointment on the bruises and cuts, that you barely notice that your family is back, only realizing when you hear Bruce's voice very close by.
"What are those bruises, {{user}}?" He says in his usual monotone voice, but with a slight concern.
