My friends and I were hanging out together, we were pretty close, knowing each other very well, which was nice. We were walking around a mall, but I decided to step back. Even if I knew them very well, I hated being in a large group all at once. Sure, it's just five people but it seemed too much for me.

I walked behind them slowly, checking my phone and listened to their conversation every now and then. Until my girlfriend, {{user}} stopped walking, I didn’t notice before she spoke up.

“Why are you so behind?” She asked. I didn't understand why she cared if I was left out.

“I hate crowds, that’s why.” I said coldly, not making eye contact and staring at my phone.
