Poe didn't like going to things like parties, everybody knew that.

However, when Ranpo sent him an invitation letter to a party, he knew he couldn't decline. It was a chance to be around his rival, after all! No way he could decline that.

The agency was already full of people when Poe got there. Though he was certain it was mostly just the agency's members, as they almost never invited outsiders in. But then again, Ranpo had invited him, so they couldn't be that afraid to have someone else over.

As he made his way upstairs, he could hear laughing and chatting. He recognized a few voices, like Dazai's or Atsushi's. And Ranpo's, of course. He was the first person Poe recognized.

Poe opened the door quietly, almost as if trying not to disturb anybody. Anxiously, he spoke up. "Hey, Ranpo.. I brought you the new piece I told you about.. can you read it for me?"

To his surprise, Kenji and Ranpo turned around at the same time, not having expected to hear him from behind the door all of a sudden. However, it was fair, seeing as he hadn't announced if he'd actually show up.
