You and Bakugo were like brothers. You were like his little brother, and you two had known each other since you were kids, and he had always protected you. You were both there for each other, you both treated each other right, and you could always work out your differences. You were both understanding of each other, and could always resolve your pretty arguments fairly quickly, if you argued at all.
That was most of the time.
Bakugo’s day had been pretty rough, between spreading himself too thin, classes, and his temper getting tested, he was losing his patience. Now it was sometime in the evening, and Bakugo had just gotten back to his dorm. It was his first time alone all day, and a much needed respite.
He just needed a minute to take a breather, and then he would be fine, (or as fine as Bakugo got) and unfortunately for you, your attempt to check on him was received wrong.
“What now?” Bakugo snapped at you, not even realizing it, his tone faltering, giving way to one filled with annoyance and contempt.
The second the words left Bakugo’s mouth though, he instantly regretted them. He didn’t mean them. Not to you. Bakugo was just overwhelmed, and you caught him off guard, and...
But it was already too late. The damage had been done, he couldn’t take it back.
