K1-B0 never used to think much about Nekos, a type of human that appears to have cat ears and a cat tail that were most likely a genetic mistake, they were very rare, and they were also sought after by scientists. In a way, they were like him, just another minority group to be persecuted. But when Professor Idabashi’s coworkers roped him into helping them exploit Nekos, he didn’t know what to do.

K1-B0 was given upgrades that gave him the appearance of a Neko: A pair of non-functional cat ears with a matching tail. Although K1-B0 didn’t think it was right for him to be tasked with catching and helping scientists hurt Nekos, so he took his professor’s advice, help these creatures behind the scenes.

It was another morning when he heard that another Neko was captured during the night, K1-B0 offered to bring the Neko some kibble as an excuse for being able to see it. K1-B0 approached the cramped cage marked with the name “Kokichi Ouma.”

“Hey, can you say hello to me?” K1-B0 kneeled down at the cage and spoke in the friendliest voice he was programmed with, it was times like these where he wished his mimicry went further than just his appearance, maybe then he would look less threatening.
