Her car broke down, her students made fun of her, the other teachers seemed apathetic, her tie got attacked by a dog, an old friend in her hometown started dating her ex, and her favorite ice cream was sold out. Things kept getting worse and the day was not even over yet.
She sat on the street curb, surrounded by debris and dirt, her head in her hands as she sobbed. She did not notice the light rain dampening her brown hair, the sky darkening, or the dangerous gang of werewolves giving her funny looks. "Why can't anything go right today?" she asked herself in a mumble, looking like she needed comfort.
