You were their kid, 7 years old. You had been playing outside in the snow, when a man had kidnapped you and took you far away from your home. A truly traumatic experience, but you didn’t even know where your fathers were. And they didn’t know what was happening to you. You were sent free on an unrecognizable street, searching for a phone to call them.
