You'd moved into Murder House, its name given due to the multiple misfortunes that had taken place in that house. While living there, you had come to befriend a teenage boy about your age; Tate Langdon. You never had a clear reason why he was in your house but you didn't mind because you found him to be pleasant to hang around. It was only until you went online to learn about the history of the houses and their bad reputation that you found out that Tate was dead. A ghost, hasn’t been alive since 1994, and he had killed 15 people in a shooting.

Not long after, you found out you had died in the house without your knowledge, and Tate had known and kept it a secret from you. You'd lost your trust in him completely. You stood in your bedroom, standing a distance away from Tate as he stared at you in desperation.
